Senior UX/UI Developer - Contract

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced contractor to join our team as Senior UX/UI Developer. In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Product, Head of Music and Front-end Developer to design and implement engaging user experiences for our web based, AI-driven music tools. You will be responsible for developing UX flows for MVP prototypes and translating designs into functional interfaces that bring our music visions to life.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a small team of Product, Music and Engineering professionals to design and implement UX flows and interfaces for our greenfield AI-driven music tools
- Create rapid prototypes for demos and iterate as you develop from MVP to scalable product
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual design that aligns with our brand and products across gaming and music
- Work directly with our front-end developer to ensure seamless integration of UI elements and functionality
- Provide feedback and ideas to current design briefs, work with the Head of Product to refine and optimise UX flow
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user interface
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design and incorporate them into our products, particularly as they relate to AI tools in market
- Provide consistent support and guidance to enhance the team's design and development skills

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Developer, developing products within a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing your D2C and B2C product design and development skills, including rapid prototypes and user flows
- Approach product development with a goal of delivering a clean, simple MVP as early as possible and then improving with iterative changes
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or Adobe XD, as well as front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (we use Figma)
- A passion for solving complicated problems and learning new skillsHigh attention to detail, ensuring consistency in MVP designs that make for easy design scale and collaboration
- Can take feedback well, and understands that changes in product direction will happen regularly - we practise direct feedback, failing fast and adapting our product quickly
- Passion for music General knowledge of AI tools and advocate for great tools in this space

Senior Software Engineer | Music

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work alongside our CTO, Head of Music and team of ML Researchers and Developers. Our small team brings together cutting edge research on speech synthesis and generative modeling to create powerful tools for young creators and music enthusiasts. Your position will help develop new and innovative ways for users to create music. Please note, this role does require knowledge of music theory.

Responsibilities:
- Build new products and contribute to existing products by prototyping, developing and refining new ways to make our tools easy to use and test.
- Solve challenges related to how audio seamlessly works within the UI of the prototype
- Understand user needs and ensure that the elements developed by the team will contribute to reducing complexity and increasing the effectiveness of our teams.
- Collaborate and work closely with our CTO, Head of Music, ML Researchers and Engineers to create music experiences for our users ensuring prototypes can scale properly.
- Keep in mind how different features will perform on different devices and make recommendations on the potential success and challenges of technical feasibility.
- General troubleshooting with technical aspects and maintaining code.

Requirements:
- Background in music, with a solid understanding of music theory.
- Professional experience with Python and Javascript, or similar object-oriented programming.
- Working experience in software development including having shipped one or more software/digital products
- Experience with modern development practices such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, version control and testingA passion for solving complicated problems and learning new skills.
- Can take feedback well, and understands that changes in product direction will happen regularly - we practice direct feedback, failing fast and adapting our product quickly
- Deep understanding of software engineering and can participate in the establishment of best practices.

VP of Engineering | Music AI

The Role:
Expressions of interest open for an experienced and hands-on VP of Engineering to lead our technical team and oversee technical vision. In this role you will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure fast prototyping and scalable development of our portfolio of products including AI Models and Tools, Roblox games and future facing products. You will lead a highly talented team of product developers and machine learning engineers who have niche skill sets in music and audio. As a small team, we expect the right person to manage product roadmaps but also have capability to be on the tools where required - leading by example, reviewing code and assisting with technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the technical vision and roadmap, aligning with our strategic goals
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of ML engineers and product developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, fast prototyping and constant improvement
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Provide direction and oversee the integration of Generative AI Music models into our products, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our users
- Work closely with Product, Go-To-Market and Operations teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution with users always front of mind

- Experience working with small teams and new projects/product builds, ideally having shipped multiple consumer products
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and development frameworks - Python and Javascript advantageous
- A balance of strategic management and hands on development skills - ideally 50/50 in your most recent position
- Extensive knowledge of rapid prototyping for consumer products in music, entertainment or gaming industries
- Approach product development with a goal of delivering a working prototype as early as possible and then improving with iterative changes
- A passion for solving complicated problems and learning new skills
- Can take feedback well, and understands that changes in product direction will happen regularly - we practise direct feedback, failing fast and adapting our product quickly
